- Adding Students – Input basic student information in the required fields, including first name, last name, and student ID number. There are many additional data fields available, depending on your needs.
- Creating Class(es) – Create one or more classes by giving them descriptive names and numbers, and then enroll your students into their respective classes.
- Student Enrollment – Transfer students between classes, smoothly transition to new terms (like quarters, semesters, or years), and import data from other schools, even if it’s mid-term.
- Flexible Class Scheduling – Automatically track tardies and absences by creating a class schedule, which is customizable to fit a broad range of classroom environments. Adapts to sequential classes within a Program or Open-Entry / Open-Exit.
- Data Management – Present all collected student data, including clock times, in whatever format you need. It’s easy to access and edit, and you have full control and flexibility when managing your records within the system.
There is no limit to the number of students or classes you can input. You can also import data from other schools or classroom management software.
Attendance Manager Cloud offers several student clock-in methods:
- Electronic Time-Clock (Attendance Terminal) – Placed out into the classroom, these devices allow students to clock-in with their fingerprint, student ID card, or student PIN. They feature a 3 inch full color display that shows the student name with an audible tone on each clock-in to assure your students that their input was received. They include enhanced networked security and automatic daylight savings times adjustments.
- Classroom Computer – As long as you have internet access, you can log into a “Mock Terminal” app that comes with your Attendance Manager Cloud account. This app mimics the same process described above but without fingerprint scanning. Students type in their student ID number on a desktop computer keyboard, and then the app displays their name and audibly confirms a successful clock-in.
- Teacher Manual Entry – Manually add and edit clock times for any and all students. We don’t recommend doing this every day, but it’s an oft used option for data management.
You can record multiple clock times for any student on any given day. This is especially helpful for long classroom sessions where students take several breaks or for those who come in after hours to log in extra time.
Most of the reports built into Attendance Manager Cloud have been designed by teachers, for teachers. You can generate reports for individual students, single or multiple classes, or entire programs that span several years. We’ve also included state-specific reports based on their curriculum requirements, and are always adding more based on user feedback. Check out the Reports section for a list of available reports and report options.
